This Shipping Policy explains how orders placed through the GRÜNWASCHEN online store are processed, shipped and delivered.

Shipping FAQ

Where do you ship?

We ship to countries currently available as delivery destinations during checkout. If a country is not available at checkout, we currently do not offer standard online delivery to that destination.

How much does shipping cost?

Shipping within Germany is free.

For European Union destinations to which we currently ship, shipping is free for orders with a product value of €200 or more. For orders below €200, the applicable shipping charge is calculated and displayed during checkout.

For all other available international destinations, shipping costs are calculated and displayed during checkout before the order is submitted.

How long does delivery take?

Orders are usually processed within 2–3 business days.

Estimated delivery after dispatch is approximately:

Germany: 1–2 business days
European Union: 3–7 business days
Other international destinations: 7–21 business days

These delivery times are estimates only and may vary depending on the destination, carrier, customs processing and other circumstances.

Are returns free?

Returns sent from Germany are free. After your return request has been submitted and confirmed by us, GRÜNWASCHEN will provide a prepaid return label.

Customers returning an order from any other country are responsible for the direct return shipping costs, unless the product is defective, damaged or incorrectly supplied.

Will I have to pay customs duties or import fees?

Deliveries within the European Union are not subject to import customs duties between EU member states.

For deliveries outside the European Union, customs duties, import taxes, local taxes, brokerage fees, handling fees or similar charges may be imposed by the destination country, customs authorities or the carrier.

These charges are not included in the amount paid to GRÜNWASCHEN during checkout and must be paid separately by the recipient where applicable.

Which shipping provider do you use?

We may use different carriers or shipping providers depending on the destination, parcel, product and current availability. We therefore do not guarantee that every order will be shipped using the same carrier.

How can I track my order?

Where tracking is available for your shipment, tracking information will be included in your shipping confirmation email or provided separately after dispatch.

1. Shipping destinations

GRÜNWASCHEN ships only to countries and destinations currently available during checkout.

The countries to which we offer delivery may change from time to time. Availability shown during checkout is decisive for the relevant order.

If a destination is not available during checkout, standard online delivery to that destination is currently not offered.

2. Processing time

Orders are usually processed within 2–3 business days after payment has been received or successfully authorised.

Orders are generally processed Monday to Friday, excluding public holidays in Germany.

During peak periods, holidays, sales, events or other periods of increased order volume, processing may take slightly longer.

Processing time is additional to the estimated shipping transit time.

We may use different shipping providers depending on the destination, parcel, product, service availability and other operational requirements.

We therefore do not guarantee the use of any particular carrier for an individual order.

Estimated delivery times after dispatch:

Germany: 1–2 business days
European Union: 3–7 business days
Other international destinations: 7–21 business days

Delivery times are estimates and are not guaranteed unless expressly stated otherwise.

Delays may occur because of carrier disruptions, customs processing, seasonal shipping volumes, public holidays, weather, force majeure or other circumstances outside our reasonable control.

4. Shipping costs

Germany: Standard shipping within Germany is free.

European Union: For EU countries to which we currently offer delivery, shipping is free for orders with a product value of €200 or more.

For EU orders below €200, the applicable shipping cost is calculated and displayed during checkout.

Other international destinations: Shipping costs are calculated and displayed during checkout before you submit your order.

The shipping cost displayed during checkout for the selected destination and order is the applicable shipping charge for that purchase.

5. Customs, duties and import taxes

Deliveries between EU member states are generally not subject to import customs duties.

For deliveries outside the European Union, the recipient may be required to pay customs duties, import taxes, local taxes, VAT or GST imposed on import, brokerage charges, handling fees or other charges imposed by customs authorities, carriers or other authorities in the destination country.

These charges are not collected by GRÜNWASCHEN during checkout and are not included in the amount paid to us for the order.

Where such charges apply, they must be paid separately by the recipient directly to the relevant authority, carrier or service provider.

GRÜNWASCHEN does not determine or control these charges and cannot predict their amount in advance.

Customers are responsible for checking any applicable import rules, duties or taxes in the destination country before placing an international order.

If a shipment is refused, not collected or returned because customs duties, import taxes or other import charges have not been paid, costs incurred in connection with the shipment or return may be deducted from any refund where legally permitted.

6. Order tracking

Once your order has been dispatched, you will receive a shipping confirmation.

Where tracking is available for the relevant shipping service, tracking information will be included in the shipping confirmation or provided separately.

If you have received tracking information and the status has not updated for several days, you can contact us at info@gruenwaschen.com.

7. Incorrect or undeliverable addresses

Please make sure that your shipping address is complete and correct before submitting your order.

If a parcel is returned to us because of an incorrect or incomplete address, refusal of delivery, failure to collect the parcel or another circumstance attributable to the recipient, we may:

resend the parcel, in which case additional shipping costs may apply; or
cancel the order and refund the relevant product value, less shipping, return or other costs incurred where legally permitted.

If you notice an address error after placing your order, contact us as soon as possible. Address changes may no longer be possible once processing or dispatch has started.

8. Lost, delayed or damaged shipments

If your shipment appears delayed and tracking information is available, please check the tracking status first.

If the parcel remains untraceable or appears to be lost, contact us at info@gruenwaschen.com so that we can investigate the shipment with the relevant carrier where appropriate.

If an item arrives damaged, please contact us as soon as possible and, where possible, provide photographs of the item, parcel and packaging.

We will review the case and arrange an appropriate solution. Your statutory consumer rights remain unaffected.

9. Returns and return shipping

Returns sent from Germany are free.

After your return request has been submitted and confirmed, GRÜNWASCHEN will provide a prepaid return label.

For returns sent from all other countries, the customer is responsible for the direct return shipping costs.

This applies to returns made under the statutory right of withdrawal as well as any voluntary return policy offered by GRÜNWASCHEN, unless otherwise stated or required by law.

If an item is defective, damaged or incorrectly supplied, GRÜNWASCHEN will cover the necessary return shipping costs.
